CHICAGO (March 2018) – SCB is pleased to announce that Meg Mueller has joined the firm’s Chicago office as the University Relations Manager in the Campus Environments practice group. As a leader in this group, Meg serves as a liaison to the firm’s college and university clients, working to strengthen SCB’s collaborative partnerships. In addition, she leads all campus outreach and marketing efforts to build new relationships with institutions of higher education across the U.S. Meg understands the importance of well-planned and designed campus environments and the impact of place on a student’s educational experience.
“I am excited to join the Campus Environments team at SCB,” Mueller said. “With projects like the recently completed Tooker House at Arizona State University and Peter B. Lewis Gateway Center at Oberlin College, I really see SCB raising the bar for campus design and innovation. I’m looking forward to helping advance this important part of the firm’s practice.”
Meg has spent the past several years cultivating meaningful relationships within the built industry to yield revenue growth for a nationally recognized engineering firm. Meg is a firm believer that thought-provoking design positively influences all aspects of a community.
“SCB has always been known for its work on large, urban, mixed-use projects,” said Jim Curtin, SCB Principal and leader of the firm’s Campus Environments practice group. “What a lot of people don’t know is that the firm has worked with over 40 institutions nationwide, designing a wide range of campus buildings. We are glad to welcome Meg to the firm as she helps develop new relationships with colleges and universities, as well as raise awareness of our work in the higher education market.”
Meg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business.
