This addition to the SCB designed 71,000 sf Phase One office and laboratory complex, makes CMIER one of the largest and most recognized state-of-the-art hospital biological research centers in the Midwest. The First Floor consists of support spaces, a Director's Research Laboratory space, chemical storage, and waste containment. The Second Floor consists of a BL2 (Biosafety Level 2) Laboratory, a BL3 (Biosafety Level 3) Laboratory. The Third, Fourth, and Fifth floors consist of large dedicated Core Laboratories.
