May, 2011

SCB Principal Mark J. Frisch, FAIA LEED AP BD+C has been elevated to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects.  Frisch is one of five Chicago-based architects to earn the prestigious Fellowship designation this year, among 99 other AIA members nationwide.

To become a Fellow, architects are evaluated on their contributions to the profession, and their advancement of standards of excellence in their area of focus.  Frisch was selected for elevation to Fellowship in recognition of his innovative technical design solutions that are considered a “model for how integrated design advances the building industry.”  As a Principal of SCB, Frisch oversees the firm’s integrated project delivery across a range of building types.

The Investiture of Fellows Ceremony takes place May 13, 2011 during the AIA National Convention and Design Exposition in New Orleans.
