An Associate Principal and Project Manager at SCB, Jeff Zdenahlik manages one of the three architecture studios in the firm’s Chicago office. With over 17 years of experience at the firm and 30 years in the profession, Jeff has managed large-scale, mid-rise, and low-rise projects. His responsibilities include overseeing all phases of a project and serving as the principal contact for the client. He is passionate about meeting and monitoring clients’ programs, project schedule, zoning and code compliance, technical quality, and working to ensure projects are delivered in accordance to the established budget and schedule.
Much of Jeff’s experience as a Project Manager is focused on high-rise residential, hotel, senior housing, laboratory, office, and museum work. Over the course of his tenure at SCB, Jeff has managed 11 high-rise residential tower projects, including the 46-story luxury rental tower at 500 Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, and the 45-story Murano luxury condominium tower in Philadelphia.
Jeff has led the SCB intern developmental program since its inception over 15 years ago. His passion for assisting junior staff in obtaining architectural knowledge at an accelerated pace has proven to benefit both the individual and the overall building designs. Jeff earned his Bachelor of Architecture from North Dakota State University and is a member of the AIA.
