As Director of Aviation at SCB, Tom Chambers brings over 30 years of aviation design and planning experience to his role. He has led teams on large and small airport terminal projects around the world, including the United Airlines Terminal 1 at O’Hare; Terminal 2 at the Cologne/Bonn International Airport; the Suvarnabhumi International Airport at Bangkok, Thailand; the O’Hare Façade and Circulation Enhancement (FACE) Project; and the New Passenger Terminal at the Duluth International Airport.
Beyond his passenger terminal portfolio, Tom has worked as project manager, planner, designer, and technical coordinator for a variety of building types, including parking facilities, revenue and access control facilities, airfield rescue and fire fighting facilities, air traffic control towers, and maintenance and snow removal equipment facilities.
He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame and is a member of the AIA, American Association of Airports Executives, and The Airports Consultants Council.
