4 East Elm
4 East Elm is a 194,000-square-foot luxury condominium tower located at the corner of State and Elm in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. The residential tower contains only two units per floor that range between 3,100 and 3,500 square feet, and each served by their own private elevator.
The 23-story building includes 35 units, above ground structured parking, and 5,400 square feet of ground-level retail space. The building’s four-story rusticated stone base responds to the surrounding street context, while the glass tower above is modern and direct with corner balconies that alternate position in a five-story rhythm. The tower is wrapped in a taut, modern exterior window wall that features floor-to-ceiling glass to maximize the surrounding city views. A full-floor penthouse unit occupies the top floor and has large outdoor terraces. Residential amenities include a club lounge, screening room, conference room, and a fitness center that features an exercise room, a private workout room, and an outdoor swimming pool. The units have spacious living areas with family rooms and large outdoor terraces.
