SCB brought the tower to human scale by developing strong presence at the street level to encourage pedestrian interaction with the structure. The redesign also addresses circulation issues around Metra passenger movements through the lobby. Main lobby improvements include the installation of a new security desk to maximize efficiency of guards and improve aesthetics, a new concierge station, modernized finishes throughout, a new turnstile system, enhanced lighting, interior and exterior signage upgrades, and a feasibility study to add a coffee/convenience kiosk.
