SCB is a proud member of the Magnificent Mile Association (formerly the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association, or GNMAA). Serving as Chair of the 21st Century Planning Committee, Christine Carlyle, SCB's Director of Planning, led the effort to update the Vision 2012 Policy Document.

The new plan, entitled “Vision 2025,” was developed over a two-year period in consultation with leading stakeholders, professional experts, residents, and MMA members. SCB supported the planning process by assisting in the community/stakeholder outreach process, collecting data, and producing project documentation. The final plan for the future of North Michigan Avenue and its immediate context will serve as a community strategic plan and offer guiding principles to ensure that Chicago’s Magnificent Mile and the surrounding district remains a beautiful, thriving, mixed-use community.
