Loyola University Chicago celebrated the opening of the John and Kathy Schreiber Center, the new home of the Quinlan School of Business, on September 15.  Designed by SCB, the 10-story, 150,000 SF LEED Gold targeted building is a mixed-use vertical campus located in the heart of the University’s Water Tower campus in downtown Chicago.

Special guests at the opening gala event included Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.), the keynote speaker for the evening. “Great leaders give their people everything they need, and that’s what you’ve done here at Quinlan: you’ve given students everything they need.” said Powell. “The new facility gives you a great opportunity to realize your vision for the business school.”
