Ryan McBrayer Joins SCB

SAN FRANCISCO (September 2018) SCB is pleased to announce that Ryan McBrayer has joined the firm as the Director of Business Development in SCB’s San Francisco office.

“It is great to join the SCB team to help further the firm’s practice and success in the greater Bay Area,” McBrayer said. “As someone who has been working in San Francisco’s architecture and design industry for the past 15 years, I have been impressed with the firm’s design work and growth since opening their doors in 2007.”

McBrayer brings a unique understanding of the commercial landscape and the ever-changing nature of the market. Before joining SCB, he held marketing and business development roles at Mark Cavagnero Associates, HOK, and AECOM.

“This is an exciting time for SCB, and SCB San Francisco in particular, ” added Chris Pemberton, President of SCB. “With some great high-rise Class-A office projects under design, particularly 2201 Valley and Beacon Tower in Oakland, and a growing corporate interiors studio, we are glad to have Ryan join us and help us continue to find opportunities and forward-thinking clients who share our commitment to great design.”

As a California native, McBrayer has spent the last 20 years enjoying the Bay Area. He is an active member of a number of organizations including CoreNet and Make-A-Wish Foundation, and he has recently served on the Public Art Committee in Emeryville. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Arizona State University and a Master of Business Administration from Alliant University in San Diego.
