SCB Celebrates Promotion of Two Studio Leaders
Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB) is pleased to announce the promotion of Alexandra Schabel, AIA, to Studio Leader in Chicago and Sylvia Schnackenburg, AIA, LEED BD+C, to Studio Leader in Boston.
“Both women have a wealth of professional experience and we are very excited to see them thrive in their new leadership roles,” said Renee Sprogis-Marohn, AIA, SCB Principal.
Known for her exceptional project management skills, Alex, an Associate Principal at SCB, has managed complex, multi-phased projects across the nation, having worked recently on 5th & Spring Garden in Philadelphia and 1230 W Peachtree in Atlanta. She is currently managing 400 N. Elizabeth, one of the largest life sciences projects in Chicago.
Sylvie, also an Associate Principal, has been with SCB for 18 years, serving as a talented project architect on various developments throughout the United States, including The Mather in Tysons, Virginia, the international headquarters for Hub Group in Oak Brook, Illinois, and most recently, Nashville’s highly anticipated Four Seasons Hotel and Residences. Sylvie is one of the original team members that opened SCB’s Boston office in 2021, expanding the firm’s East Coast presence.
