SCB Campus Environments Releases Case Study on All-Electric Design for Student Housing

Decarbonization. Renewable Energy. Sustainable Design. With buildings consuming forty percent of the total energy produced nationally each year, architects and engineers are being challenged to design buildings that not only consume less resources, but also utilize cleaner sources of energy. SCB’s Campus Environments studio has produced a case study on the topic of building electrification featuring a comparative analysis between a traditional mixed-fuel and all-electric powered design for one of the firm’s latest student residential projects at the University of California, Riverside.
