How did you end up at SCB?
In 2013 I initially reached out to Christine Carlyle from the SCB Planning Studio about any potential opportunities with SCB, and we setup an informal interview to chat even though there were no openings at the time. Four years later, after pursuing further studies and working for several years with another firm, I discovered the SCB Planning Studio was looking to add a member.
How long have you been at SCB?
About 2.5 years.
What initially attracted you to study design or pursue a career in design?
I wanted to do work that would tap into and refine my creative talents. Architecture became the field of choice because of an enduring fascination with construction and how things fit together.
What is the best thing about working at SCB?
The people and the incredible diversity of backgrounds, talents/skills, and experiences among our team and those with whom we interact.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I get to be a part of shaping spaces, both inside and out, that will frame people’s lives and bring delight in occasionally unexpected moments in both perceptible and imperceptible ways.
