Basil Souder is a Project Manager at SCB who manages project teams on a day-to-day basis. With over 35 years of experience, he brings expertise in design and project management across a number of markets, including high-rise residential projects, large and small urban and academic master planning projects, and interior architecture and interior design projects. Basil believes in fostering innovation in practice, and in the development and maintenance of strong client relationships.
Basil’s specialties include project management, business development, proposal writing, contract negotiation, construction administration, construction document technical oversight, value engineering, programming, site planning, interior planning and design, sustainability, and academic master planning. His project experience includes high-rise multi-family residential buildings, public and academic libraries, museums, corporate headquarters and interiors, speculative office buildings, restaurants, hotels, sports facilities, public parks, and data centers.
A member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Basil earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont and his Master of Architecture at the University of Virginia.
