As an Associate Principal at SCB, Joe Fox brings over 18 years of technical and management expertise to the design and construction process. In his role as project manager Joe is responsible for leading client relationships, team communication, and technical oversight for a wide variety of residential, office, institutional, and hospitality projects.
Joe’s expertise is in high-rise building, with an emphasis on multi-family and mixed-use urban infill projects. His recent projects include Hubbard Place and the Loews Chicago Hotel in Chicago IL, 7 Seventy 7 in Milwaukee WI, and The Lumen in Cleveland, OH. Joe is involved in all stages of a project overseeing the design collaboration and structuring the work effort. As a hands on leader Joe is equally invested in the planning and design conception as his is in the execution and detailing. Through his institutional work with Loyola University Chicago, Joe has worked on some of the most energy efficient buildings in the country including the Loyola Information Commons and the John and Kathy Schreiber Center at the Quinlan School of Business.
Joe is a member of the American Institute of Architects and a certified LEED AP BD+C Professional. He received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and studied for one year at the Ecole d’Architecture de Versailles.
