As an Associate Principal and Studio Leader at SCB, Joe Fox brings 20+ years of technical and management expertise to the design and construction process. In his role as project manager, Joe is responsible for leading client relationships, team communication, and technical oversight for a wide variety of multifamily residential, commercial office, hospitality, and higher education projects.
Joe’s expertise is in high-rise buildings, with an emphasis on multifamily and mixed-use urban infill projects. Notable recently completed projects include 7Seventy7 in Milwaukee WI; The Lumen at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, OH; and Loews North Park Drive in Chicago IL. Joe is involved in all stages of a project, overseeing the design collaboration and structuring the work effort. As a hands-on leader, Joe is equally invested in the planning and design conception as his is in the execution and detailing. Through his institutional work with Loyola University Chicago, Joe has worked on some of the most energy efficient buildings in the country including the Information Commons and the John and Kathy Schreiber Center at the Quinlan School of Business.
Joe is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and a certified LEED AP BD+C professional. He received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and studied at the Ecole d’Architecture de Versailles.
