The Tech Services candidate is a member of the SCB IT team supporting the IT technical services for the firm. The tech will provide IT support to the Tech Services Manager in areas of computer and laptop preparation for adds, changes and removal.  The candidate will assist with equipment moves and station setup.  Tech services also includes design software support, AV and communications support for office resources.  Design firms offer a great opportunity to be exposed to a variety of software, hardware and processes that are beyond most IT work.  It is a challenging job and a chance to work alongside very creative people.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports computer software and hardware related functions
  • Helps with software and hardware distribution
  • Execute preventative and maintenance strategies as directed by Tech Services Manager
  • Physical plant support for moving people and setting up stations

Essential Skills/Attributes

  • 0 – 3 years support time for IT services for small to mid-sized organizations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field is desirable
  • Good technical and collaboration skills
  • Possesses beginning problem-solving skills
  • Coordinates with other professionals in team on tools, technology and methodology related to the design and development of IT solutions, and participates in evaluation and selection
