SCB was contracted by the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus to help envision the redevelopment of underutilized sites in the suburban communities of Batavia, Geneva, Villa Park, Bensenville, Addison, Woodale, and St. Charles, Illinois. Each redevelopment project’s goal was to create a mix of residential unit types in a dense, walkable layout. Strategic placement of open space, trails, and retail were also designed to provide amenities for the community. Before and after visualizations were created for each site and included with the final plan study document.
